Join Our Team at Roberts Primary School!

Roberts Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic, creative and dedicated Nursery Teacher to join our Early Years team. We are proud of our nurturing, inclusive environment where children are encouraged to develop curiosity, independence and a love of learning from the very start of their school journey. Our Nursery benefits from a modern, spacious classroom, a large and well-equipped outdoor learning area, and access to an extensive Forest School, providing rich opportunities for exploration and hands-on learning. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping these vital early experiences, working alongside a supportive team to provide an inspiring and engaging curriculum that helps every child thrive.

Roberts Primary is a vibrant and forward-thinking school with a strong, supportive leadership team and a welcoming staff community. Our parents work in close partnership with us and are highly supportive of the school’s aims and values. The children are an absolute delight – enthusiastic, caring and eager to learn – making Roberts Primary a truly rewarding place to work and grow as a professional.

A visit to see our school and nursery would be very much encouraged and welcomed. Please contact Mr. Lawrence via [email protected] or call the school office on 01384 987 330.

Interviews will take place W/C 1st December - exact dates and details to be confirmed following the shortlisting process.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children; therefore, the post is subject to medical clearance and an enhanced DBS check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.

All applicants must be able to provide documentation to prove their right to work in the UK.

Effective from September 2022, KCSIE states as part of the shortlisting process schools and colleges should consider carrying out on-line searches, as part of the due diligence on shortlisted candidates. This is to determine suitability to work with children and keep them safe. All shortlisted candidates are now subject to an on-line check and if there is anything concerning, then the shortlisted candidate will be asked to comment on it either prior to or at interview.

N.B., We reserve the right to close this vacancy prior to the advertised date should we receive a large number of applications.

Online application forms will only be accepted for this vacancy, online facilities for jobs are available at public libraries within the Dudley Borough.
