Nurse Practitioner Advanced
Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust
Date: 3 weeks ago
City: Leyland
Contract type: Part time
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced clinician to join our CYPMH Team in this new role, together with our partners across Lancashire & South Cumbria as we move towards mobilising the Risk Support Model in response to transforming Children & Young Peoples Mental Health Services as part of the iTHRIVE transformation programme.
The Risk Support Model is a Lancashire and South Cumbria (L&SC) wide programme and we are looking to recruit our Risk Support Liaison Worker, who will be integral in fulfilling the Risk Support approach that has been developed through the CAMHS Redesign Co-production work.
The post holder will be part of the Lancashire & South Cumbria innovative and exciting new approach to Risk Support across the integrated care system footprint, yet with a very strong local focus on working across a range of partner organisations including local CAMHS teams, Children's Social Care, education and voluntary sector partners to establish a coordinated, effective, efficient, high quality and consistent approach to Risk Support across Lancashire and South Cumbria.
Whilst the post holder will be based within local CAMHS teams, our vision is that colocation within other partner organisations in particular Children’s Social Care Teams will form part of the working week, to help embed a culture of shared risk and collaborative working arrangements in which young people, parents, carers and professionals feel supported. The post holder must be comfortable with complexity and risk, be reflexive, resilient and have experience of sitting within times of considerable uncertainty, where anxieties amongst others can be high. As part of the Risk Support approach the post holder will also be a key member of the AMBIT Community across Lancashire & South Cumbria and should feel confident in modelling the AMBIT approach across the children’s and young people’s workforce including education, social care and health professionals, as well as delivering training to partner organisation within their footprint.
Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including secondary mental health care across this area. Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.
The Trust also provides a range of physical health and well-being services in the community alongside a range of partners in the Lancashire, Cumbria and Sefton area.
Lancashire & South Cumbria Foundation Trust encourages flexible working, we believe that a positive work/life balance benefits NHS employees through improved health and wellbeing. We would consider working patterns such as; term time, part time, compressed hours, flexi-time and career breaks. We encourage applicants to state clearly on their application forms this request and discuss these options at interview.
