Network Architect - Cisco - MUST HAVE A VALID DV

We are currently seeking an experienced Network Architect to join a high-profile digital transformation programme for a major government client. This role is critical to delivering a technical refresh across key networking infrastructure, including firewalls and secure communications components.

Key Responsibilities

• Support a large-scale tech refresh project, primarily involving Cisco firewalls and Enterprise Catapans
• Update existing design documentation to reflect the integration of new networking devices
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver implementation and migration activities
• Ensure smooth handover of refreshed components to the BAU (Business as Usual) support teams
• Provide regular progress updates and technical input to the project manager
• Contribute to planning and adapting project deliverables in response to any scope or technical changes
  
  

Required Skills And Experience

• Strong expertise in Cisco networking technologies, particularly around firewalls
• Proven experience in network design, architecture and documentation
• Previous involvement in network refresh or infrastructure upgrade projects
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
