Exciting Opportunity: NDT Supervisor – Southampton
Sonomatic has recently expanded operations into Southampton, marking an exciting phase in our continued growth. As part of this expansion, we’re looking to hire an experienced NDT Supervisor to support and collaborate with our clients, helping to lay the foundations for our new long-term contract in the region.

The successful candidate will play a key role in establishing Sonomatic’s presence in the south of England, ensuring quality service delivery and supporting our expanding client base.

The successful candidate will play a key role in establishing Sonomatic’s presence in the south of England, ensuring quality service delivery and supporting our expanding client base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise NDT operations across client sites.
- Liaise closely with clients to ensure project objectives and quality standards are met.
- Support the development and mentoring of inspection teams.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant safety and quality procedures.
- Contribute to building a strong operational base for Sonomatic’s Southampton expansion.
- Proven experience as an NDT Supervisor or Senior Technician.
- Strong knowledge of inspection techniques (e.g. UT, MPI, DPI, Radiography, Eddy Current).
- Excellent communication and client management skills.
- Valid NDT certifications (PCN, ASNT, or equivalent).
- A proactive, safety-focused, and team-oriented approach.
