Job Summary
This is a demanding SEO Internal Engagement role in a busy Directorate of over 3800 people (military and civilian) operating from four sites. The post holder will establish a new engagement function to service teams based in Portsmouth and London, as well as coordinate with Clyde and Devonport Naval Base Comms teams and further across the DNE.
The role would suit an individual with experience engagement in a diverse and fast-paced environment. It requires strong communication and organisational skills. The post holder will need to take a systematic approach to their own work and direct the work of others. They will need to be numerate, able to use different methods of messaging tools and be proficient in MS365 applications.
The Submarine Directorate is refreshing the operating model. It is likely therefore that the responsibilities of the business management team will evolve. The post holder will have opportunity to influence this and will be responsible for implementing the agreed business management solution and creating the right sized and right skilled team for the Directorate.
The post will be based in Portsmouth NCHQ, with occasional travel to other defence locations including London Main Building, HMNB Clyde or HMNB Devonport.
This position is advertised at 37 hours per week.
