National Sales Manager Sports


The National Sales Manager for Sport is leading a small team of Key Account Managers and drives sales success within the Sports & Education sector across the UK..


Your role

  • Manage the Sports Teams (2 Key Account Managers) and drive business development for Gerflor sports products in UK.
  • Additionally manage your own territory and be the Key Account Manager Sport & Education in the South of UK.
  • Targeting and developing sales opportunities with DfE projects and Academy Trusts.
  • Promotion of Gerflor’s latest sport surfaces innovations with specifiers and end-users.
  • Fully manage the sales cycle from specification through to project completion with customer satisfaction as the conclusion
  • Management of selected key education projects together with the team.
  • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities for other Gerflor/Gradus products to maximize project values
  • Contribute to the brand awareness of Gerflor and Gradus in the Sports sector
  • Attend to relevant trade shows and exhibitions


Our requirements

  • Proven track record in selling building products or equipment to the UK sports sector and/or education sector
  • Sales experience in both architectural specification and end-user direct sales
  • Proven experience in business development and project acquisition
  • Preferred: Initial leadership experience
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the region
