Job Description
We are looking for a Team Manager to be part of the National Internal Investigation Service (NIIS). You will lead a small team of investigators and case support officers who provide specialist investigatory services for complex employee relations cases.

The team
The NIIS team are part of the Risk and Assurance department in the Strategy, Transformation and Assurance directorate.
The team of investigators and case support officers provide specialist investigatory services for complex and sensitive employee relations cases such as whistleblowing, grievance, disciplinary, and fraud.
This is a hybrid working role managing a dispersed team, the successful candidate can be based at any Environment Agency office. Some travel will be required to attend meetings.

- Sound understanding of the Environment Agency’s guidance and associated best practice relevant to undertaking grievance, disciplinary and other investigations.
- Confidence reviewing complex review documents, able to challenge firmly and constructively when required.
- Driving continuous improvement through policy and practice
