This position provides an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, motivated and creative nurse to lead on delivering the safeguarding agenda for Children and Young People within the Trust.
An opportunity has arisen within the South Tees Safeguarding team to lead the Safeguarding Children's team to ensure the organisation meets its safeguarding responsibilities with regard to children, young people and their families.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone considering a new challenge within a multi-agency setting offering advice, guidance, and support in relation to often complex, sensitive and emotive safeguarding concerns and delivering the safeguarding agenda for Children and Young People within the Trust.
Successful candidate must have access to a vehicle for work purposes to meet the requirements of the role.
The post holder will ensure effective relationships and integrated working with the wider safeguarding team (adults, MCA, learning disabilities, domestic abuse) and work across acute services and within a multi-agency arena. They will provide advice and support to organisation staff on the safeguarding issues affecting the health and wellbeing of children, young people. The post holder will be required to work in partnership with other agencies providing health advice and support to multi-agency partners as well as deputise for the Assistant Director of Nursing– Safeguarding, MCA/DoLs, Mental Health Legislation, Learning Disabilities and Autism.
You will provide advice and support to organisation staff on the safeguarding issues affecting the health and wellbeing of children, young people. The post holder will be required to work in partnership with other agencies providing health advice and support to multi-agency partners as well as deputise for the Assistant Director of Nursing– Safeguarding, MCA/DoLs, Mental Health Legislation, Learning Disabilities and Autism
