Job Description
Our Repairs and Maintenance teams play an important role in delivering our vision to provide great homes and great service. They offer vital support, ensuring that our homes are safe, warm, and dry; Places where our residents are proud to live.
We are regularly looking for skilled trades people including Joiners, Plumbers, Plasterers, along with Skilled Labourers to support the delivery of repairs, maintenance, and general multi-skilled work.
We are a customer focused organisation, and we are looking for people with great customer service skills and a willingness to go the extra mile to get the job done.
Our Skilled Technicians must have a full UK driving licence. A basic DBS check which will be paid for by The Guinness Partnership is also required. Our colleagues work 39 hours per week and support out of hours callout on a rota basis which is paid at £525 per week. Hours of work are 8:00am-4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 8:00am-3:30pm on Friday

Key Essential Requirements
- Competence within a primary trade and various multi-trade skills and experience in basic plumbing, tiling, plastering, mould washes/treatment and flooring coverings
- Experience of working in a customer focused environment ideally within the housing sector
- Proven ability to work methodically, achieve targets, follow agreed procedures and accurately record information
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, demonstrating organisational and time management skills
- Ability to operate safely, considering any environmental circumstances and managing possible risks
- NVQ Level 3 (City & Guilds) Trade Qualification or equivalent recognised competency in the primary trade.
