What You Will Do
: Perform electrical and mechanical breakdown repairs across the site to ensure smooth operations.
: Conduct health and safety checks and implement corrective actions to maintain compliance with legislation.
: Collaborate with the production team to schedule and carry out planned maintenance and repairs.
: Maintain and improve site utility services, identifying energy:saving opportunities and implementing continuous improvements.
: Troubleshoot and resolve processing problems, ensuring quality standards are met and recommending process improvements where necessary.
: Support training initiatives and assist operatives to enhance their skills and knowledge.
What You Will Bring
: Apprentice:trained expertise in electrical or mechanical disciplines.
: Proven experience in fault:finding and repairing gearboxes, drives, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
: A strong background in a fast:paced manufacturing environment with the ability to work as part of a team.
: Proficiency in understanding technical drawings and working with PLC and SCADA systems.
: Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem:solving.
