As a Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) You'll

• Perform the repair, maintenance, and installation of electrical systems and associated plant equipment, ensuring they meet safety standards and statutory compliance.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems and related building services, such as HVAC, fire alarm systems, and lifts, to ensure optimal operation.
• Quickly diagnose and resolve electrical faults to minimise downtime, ensuring timely repairs and maintaining service continuity.
• Ensure all maintenance work adheres to relevant health and safety regulations, including Sodexo's procedures and the latest legislation, to ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance, providing clear documentation for management and clients.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, clients, and contractors to deliver high-quality service and ensure effective communication of engineering and building issues impacting service delivery.
• Working in line with the Permit to Work System.
• Use of IT systems (Handheld device) as part of the CAFM system.
• To undertake weekend/out of hours working to complete intrusive maintenance activities that cannot be undertaken in client operating hours
  
  

What We're Looking For

• A City and Guilds/NVQ Level 3 qualification in Electrical
• 18th Edition IEE wiring qualified
• Experience in operating BMS
• Minimum 5-year experience
• Experience of PPM, Reactive and installation work
• Good computer skills (MS office, PDA’s etc
• Good Knowledge of health and safety
• Good Knowledge of HVAC systems
• Basic Mechanical/Plumbing Skills
