Your Key Responsibilities as a Multi-Skilled Engineer
Lead automation projects to enhance production efficiency and minimize downtime.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC systems (Siemens TIA Portal & Simatic Manager preferred).
Ensure smooth integration of control systems with wider factory operations.
Conduct routine system checks, backups, and upgrades to prevent failures.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement, working with TPM and LEAN methodologies.
Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations (ATEX, COSHH, etc.).
What You'll Bring to the Role
Industry Experience: 3+ years in a similar role within FMCG or food manufacturing.
Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo-motion control, and automation hardware/software.
Education & Training: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field - or 5+ years of hands-on experience.
Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and efficiently.
Adaptability: Comfortable working across various engineering disciplines while maintaining a focus on controls & automation.
