Motion Designer & Video Editor
UK Tote Group
Date: 11 hours ago
City: Wigan
Contract type: Full time
Tote is on a mission to reinvent the experience of pool betting for the modern age, blending rich heritage with innovative digital storytelling. As part of our growing creative and marketing function, we’re looking for a talented Motion Designer & Video Editor to bring our brand to life through dynamic, engaging video content. We’re looking for a creative powerhouse who can lead the creation, development, and management of in-house video content for Tote. Working closely with our Creative and Social teams, you’ll define and implement the visual language for all things video and motion, from social-first content to paid campaigns and educational assets.
You’ll be responsible for creating, editing, animating, and optimising video content that drives engagement, builds brand awareness, and supports marketing objectives across multiple channels. This role is key to scaling our in-house creative capability and ensuring that every piece of video content is consistent, effective, and unmistakably Tote.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you’ll take the lead in defining and maintaining a distinct visual identity for Tote’s video content, ensuring every piece aligns with our brand guidelines. You’ll build and manage a reusable video asset library, including templates, transitions, graphic packs, and animation elements, to streamline production and ensure consistency across channels. A key part of your role will be editing and animating social-first video content for YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook, working closely with the Social Content team to deliver impactful, on-brand campaigns.
You’ll also design, build, and optimise short-form paid ads for social platforms, Google, and partner websites, continuously refining them based on performance data. Collaborating with marketing stakeholders, you’ll test and iterate on video templates to maximise engagement and conversion. Alongside campaign work, you’ll produce and maintain a library of educational and promotional videos, keeping assets accessible, relevant, and up to date. Managing your own workflow, you’ll balance day-to-day delivery with ongoing innovation and creative exploration, ensuring Tote’s video output remains fresh and effective. As the in-house expert on motion design and video production, you’ll advise colleagues on best practices, tools, and emerging trends that can elevate our visual storytelling.
What We Are Looking For
You’ll have proven experience editing and animating video content for social media and paid channels, including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and Google. You’re highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro and After Effects, with strong 2D and 3D animation skills. A working knowledge of audio editing and sound design will allow you to deliver polished, production-ready content. You’ll also have the ability to create and maintain scalable asset libraries and templates that improve efficiency and creative consistency across campaigns.
Your design eye is sharp, your storytelling instincts are strong, and you know how to translate brand guidelines into engaging, high-impact motion graphics. Exceptionally organised and self-motivated, you can manage multiple projects and priorities independently while maintaining a high creative standard. You’re experienced in collaborating with marketing teams to test creative formats and apply data-driven insights to optimise content performance. You also understand best practices for producing engaging short-form and educational video content tailored for digital audiences.
Ideally, you’ll bring experience from the betting, gaming, or sports entertainment industries, along with familiarity in video analytics, A/B testing, and performance measurement. Confidence with basic filming and production setups, including lighting, framing, and camera work, would be a bonus.
What’s in it for you?
At the Tote you can expect a friendly working environment with a strong sense of teamwork and pride in what we do. Within this role you’ll develop a broad range of skills and experiences that can enhance your career at the Tote. Additionally, our company benefits package includes;
