Mortgage and Protection Administrator
Location: Birmingham (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Full-Time (with an early Friday finish!)

We are looking for a detail-oriented Mortgage & Protection Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will ensure all administration for mortgage and protection business is managed efficiently from start to completion, meeting service levels and regulatory requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing
Mortgage Application Processing
- Liaise with providers, lenders, and clients to progress cases.
- Coordinate with solicitors and conveyancers on exchange/completion dates.
- Manage review dates for existing clients.
- Ensure client files comply with FCA rules and regulations.
Client Database Management
- Maintain accurate client records and AML information.
- Upload signed disclosure documents and authority letters.
- Record existing mortgages and protection policies.
- Keep workflows and activity entries up to date.
Adviser/Client/Provider Support
- Obtain illustrations, application forms, and supporting documents.
- Prepare suitability reports for adviser review.
New Business Submission
- Submit life/general business applications to providers.
- Track progress and update advisers accordingly.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of FCA regulations and Consumer Duty principles is desirable.
