About The Role:
Days Of Working: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm, Occasional weekends and nights can be expected.
Following a period of rapid growth, OCS, an expert in facilities management have created an exciting new role for an experienced soft service mobilisation and change manager, looking to progress their career in a challenging, diverse and rewarding role of central importance to the OCS Business.
Reporting to Head of Mobilisation UK & Ireland ,supporting Business leaders across our OCS UK&IRE business, the successful candidate will lead and co-ordinate change and mobilisation activity to enable the business to deliver change management objectives in line with our 5yr strategic vision and plans and enable mobilisations to perform in line with the contract from go live.
This will include working closely with senior internal stakeholders and operational teams to ensure all aspects of change management & mobilisation are covered to the required quality, legislative and compliance standards.
The role requires the candidate to work to agreed standards and methodology ensuring that change projects & mobilisations deliver the expected benefits on time, to the expected quality standards, and within the agreed budget. This includes the preparation and maintenance of all project documentation, project plans, risk and issue logs, reporting requirements and presentations. This also includes the tracking of cost and benefits on an on-going basis. Overall management of mobilisation activities, deliverables, and resource. Specifically related to change management this role requires the individual to understand and lead where required change and change workshops for affected parties to enable the delivery of strategic projects in support of our growth strategy.
You will be competent in managing large scale hard and soft moblisation & change programmes. An influential, engaging PM, you will instill confidence and belief in our clients; your communication skills will enable you to build long-standing collaborative relationships with clients, stakeholders and colleagues alike. Primary responsibilities and deliverables will include:
- Supporting the Head of Projects and Mobilisation and the wider Mobilisation team in the delivery of objectives and goals
- Overseeing the full Change, Mobilisation and Transition process, to include: Initiating kick off meetings; facilitating the governance process; managing change & mobilisation project plan, risk and issue log, actions log, project meetings, and producing regular progress reports; managing mobilisation budget;
- Highlighting and actively engaging all project stakeholders and maintaining close and ongoing relationships with key stakeholder through the life of the projects
- Building and maintaining RAID’s logs (Risk, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies) prioritising and building mitigation plans to minimise impact, and escalating business critical issues in a timely manner
- Responsibility for quality management of change & mobilisation project deliverables
- Highlighting any breaches of tolerances and taking migrating action to rectify
- Maintaining project reporting and providing highlight reports when requested
- Undertaking lessons learnt sessions upon project closure and factoring in learning to drive continuous improvement processes
- Maintaining up-to-date awareness and compliance in respect of business continuity plans and Health and Safety regulations
- Qualified to APM or Prince 2 Practitioner level, or equivalent
- Qualified to Change Master practitioner level or equivalent
- Comprehensive experience of change management with a knowledge of Project Management Methodologies
- A proven track record in leading successful single, bundled service & integrated FM mobilisation and transition programmes
- Proven experience working within project or change environments managing complex transformation programmes
- Proven experience in creating robust business cases including cost / benefit analysis
- Demonstrable portfolio / project governance expertise; financial management and reporting
- Experience of project and programme reporting; managing risk, issues and dependencies and building mitigation plans
- A background of working within operational Facilities Management is essential
- A confident, engaging and visionary leader, you will possess outstanding communication skills, the ability to influence and build effective long-standing working relationships
- Detail-focussed, process-orientated, highly organised and able to multi-task, you will be robust and work competently under pressure and at pace
- A team player you will seek to encourage, develop and motivate your team to achieve and engage in collaborative working with stakeholders across the business
- Adaptable and flexible, innovative and creative you will respond quickly to shifts in the working landscape; you will embrace transformation and look to find efficiencies and refine processes with customer experience and quality at the core
- Fully competent in MS products including but not limited to MSOffice project and or smart sheets experience.
