Our client, a fast-growing HGV Engineering company, is seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join their team. As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for removing old pieces of metal and welding new components, ensuring the highest standards of quality and precision.
This is a temporary to permanent position, offering an hourly rate of £15 to £16. You will be working Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm, with a finish time of 4pm on Fridays. Overtime opportunities are also available.
Responsibilities
Remove old pieces of metal from HGVs
Weld new components as per specifications
Ensure the highest standard of quality and precision in welding procedures
Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Requirements
Proven experience as a MIG Welder
Proficient in MIG welding techniques
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent problem-solving skills
