What is the role?

This is a full time, permanent role based in Theale, near Reading. Within the Client Product Management team you will work in partnership with all leading PC client vendors and complimentary OEMs (Microsoft, AMD, Intel, HP, Lenovo, Dell). In this role you will be responsible for program management, design, and delivery across the portfolio of PC brands working closely with product management, sales, and marketing, as well as having direct contact with customers.

The successful candidate will be commercially aware, have a positive mindset, be proactive in their work, ambitious to grow and to learn while showing an excellent attention to detail.

As the Microsoft Program Manager, you will have P&L responsibilities and should be comfortable in reporting back performance against key KPI’s to senior management. There will be a requirement to create and measure strategic plans to ensure the objectives of both Westcoast and the vendor are met.

Candidates will ideally have a background in Product Marketing, Sales, or Category Management.

If you join us, this is what your day to day will look like:

  • Develop key stake holder relationships internally and externally to effectively deliver growth plans.
  • Effectively manage the forecast and planning of key KPI’s, business plans and customer commercials.
  • Create business plan to deliver key objectives for our vendors.
  • Hold stakeholder meetings internally and externally.
  • Engage with our marketing team to strategize campaigns to the channel.
  • Maintain and manage data to measure program success.
  • Deliver training and manage customer events.

Is this the role for you?

To be successful in this role you will have some of the following skills and experience, and the desire to develop in other areas:

  • Previous experience in marketing, sales, or product management, with experience creating and delivering successful product and marketing campaigns.
  • Experience of working within IT channel.
  • Commercially aware.
  • Able to work well under pressure and demonstrate Westcoast’s values.
  • Experience of conducting client/vendor presentation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confident decision maker.
  • Good IT and numeracy skills with awareness of data management and analysis. Experience utilizing Microsoft Office/BI.
