Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst

Mercor is recruiting Investment Bankers, Private Equity investors and other financial services professionals with strong M&A or coverage experience as consultants with a leading AI company.

Screening Process:

• 10 min AI interview about your background (they will reviewed entirely by humans -- it takes us a long time to actually find mutual times to meet about general questions so we find this to be convenient)
• 15 min interview with Virat (he is the one who would be managing the project on our end)

Scope of work:

• You will work as a consultant for a leading AI company at the intersection of AI and Finance.
• You will use your expertise to help influence and evaluate the workflows of cutting edge financial AI tools.
• You will work alongside some of the leading researchers and technologists in the field of AI.

You are a good fit if you:

• 2+ years of experience working in M&A or coverage at a bulge bracket investment bank.
• 2+ Investor at a leading large-cap or mid-market private equity firm.
• The ability to conceptually understand complex financial workflows at a high level.
• The ability to execute on similar complex financial workflows.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• No AI Experience is required

With respect to pay and legal status:

• We will pay you out at the end of each week via Stripe Connect.
• You will log the number of hours you spend each week.
• You will be classified as an “at-will” contractor to Mercor.

This position pays $90-$150/hr (depending on your background, experience and location). However, exceptions can be made on a discretionary basis to offer competitive pay for those with exceptional experience.
