Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Band 6/7 Mental Health Practitioner on behalf of a private provider in Northampton for a locum position.
This role is open to Occupational Therapists, Speech & Language Therapists, or Social Workers with relevant experience-particularly those with expertise in dysphagia.

Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive assessments for service users with complex needs.
- Provide specialist input for individuals with dysphagia, ensuring safe and effective management.
- Develop, implement, and review care/support plans in collaboration with the wider multi-disciplinary team.
- Advise, support, and train carers, families, and colleagues in safe swallowing and feeding practices.
- Contribute to safeguarding and risk assessments, escalating where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with professional standards.
- Work flexibly within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
- Excellent hourly rate - up to £48/hr
- Flexibility: work up to 3 days a week

- Open to OT, SALT, or SW candidates at Band 6/7 equivalent

To be successful in this role you must have,
- Band 6/7 equivalent Mental Health Practitioner (OT / SALT / SW)
- Private provider - Northampton based
- Up to £48/hr (locum)
- Up to 3 days per week - flexible working pattern
- Tracheostomy experience not essential
- Must have proven experience in this field
- Free DBS and compliance service
