Main duties of the job
This service provides an opportunity to develop an integrated team-offering specialist mental health provision to service users within the custodial environment. This will include primary and secondary mental health care caseloads with whom they will work alongside to formulate risk management plans and care planning based on robust assessment of need. This will be supported by a multi-disciplinary team based approach.
You will be approachable, energetic and resilient. You will be joining a team committed to improving the health and wellbeing of patients under our care and also supporting your professional development.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their skills within offender health and work closely within a multi-agency team to improve practice and overall experience for the service users.
We are looking for a good team player who has excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritize and manage their time effectively.
In addition, we are keen to develop employees and offer excellent progression through various career pathways and in continuing professional development opportunities such as an MSc in Health, Mental Health and Wellbeing.
