The Role
- Ensure all customer requests and enquiries are dealt with in an efficient and business-like manner.
- Provide administrative support and diary management to the Meeting and Events Sales Manager.
- Conduct ‘Show-rounds’ and consultations with potential clients, showcasing the venues features and amenities.
- Maintain manual filing system to company standards.
- Maintenance of all market segment databases.
- Co-ordinate and execute all direct mailings as instructed by the Meeting and Events Manager.
- Assist with the co-ordination of corporate hospitality events.
- Conduct Market research/telesales campaigns as required.
- Compile sales packs and ensure that an adequate supply of relevant stationary and brochures are in stock.
- Meet specific sales targets set by management and head office.
- Understand the business strategy of the company and help engage in the activity plans - annual, quarterly, and monthly.
- Responsible for delivering memorable events for our clients with an individual bespoke approach, is a key part of the role.
- Strong knowledge of Opera PMS and Sales and catering system are a requirement.
- Utilise the hotel space to generate maximum revenue.
- Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and pricing packages to clients, negotiating terms as required to secure bookings.
