Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician - Womens Services

Are you an enthusiastic, skilled, and patient-centered Pharmacy Technician? This is a fantastic opportunity to join The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust as a Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician specializing in Women’s Services. You’ll play a critical role in delivering expert pharmaceutical care to patients across the maternity unit and delivery suite. This position supports our commitment to providing safe, caring, and effective services because people matter.

As a Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician, You Will

• Deliver high-quality medicines management services to designated areas, including women’s specialty wards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and ensure effective medication use.
• Obtain accurate medication histories, assess patients’ own medicines, and support the transcription and supply of discharge medication.
• Counsel patients on medication use, providing advice on benefits and side effects.
• Facilitate audits, promote adherence to Trust and national clinical guidelines, and support quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide training for pharmacy staff, nurses, and midwives regarding medicines management.
