Applications are invited for the post of Medical Administrator to work within the Diagnostic Laboratories Admin Team; to support the team by providing a comprehensive and high-quality administration service.
You will be required to provide daily support to the Laboratories across a full range of administration tasks, including the input of test requests and results, collating information, co-ordinating rotas and issuing of reports to ensure the smooth and effective operation of the department.
You will also have responsibility for answering the telephone, ordering stock and other administrative duties as and when required. The successful candidate will also provide cover to other admin teams across Diagnostics.
You must also have excellent IT skills and good knowledge of Microsoft Office software packages. Excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team are essential for this position.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
Hours of work are: 37 hours per week.
