Lincolnshire Football Association is seeking to recruit a dynamic and creative Media, Marketing & Events Officer to support the delivery of The FA National Game Strategy and the Lincolnshire FA’s Strategic Plan, working in partnership with key stakeholders across the county.


This exciting opportunity offers the chance to play a leading role in shaping how football in Lincolnshire is promoted, celebrated, and experienced - both on and off the pitch.

About The Role

The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic, creative and highly skilled individual who will lead the development, implementation, and review of all Lincolnshire FA marketing and communications functions.


They will:

  • Manage the organisation’s brand and digital presence, including website, social media and publications.
  • Build relationships with local media and partners to maximise coverage and engagement.
  • Lead the coordination and delivery of key events such as the Lincolnshire FA Annual Grassroots Awards and County Cup finals.
  • Use data and insights to support participation growth, engagement, and commercial objectives.
  • Help shape and share powerful stories about football across Lincolnshire, from grassroots heroes to community impact.


Reporting to the Head of Partnerships and Engagement, this full-time role (35 hours per week) includes occasional evening and weekend work in line with our events and competitions calendar.


Salary: £27,486 – £29,944

Contract: Funded until 30th June 2028 (aligned with The FA National Game Strategy)

Location: Lincolnshire FA Office, with flexibility for hybrid working


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the marketing, communications, and events functions of the Lincolnshire FA.
  • Maintain control of the Lincolnshire FA brand and visual identity.
  • Oversee the Association’s website, social media, and email marketing channels.
  • Manage major events and awards programmes.
  • Develop and maintain positive media relationships.
  • Deliver marketing support for FA and local campaigns.
  • Coordinate promotional activity for commercial partners.
  • Support safeguarding messaging and youth engagement through digital platforms.
  • Ensure all communication is inclusive, professional, and aligned with our values.


About You

To be successful in this role, applicants should be able to demonstrate:


  • A strong understanding of marketing, communications, and brand management.
  • Experience using digital tools such as websites, social media, and email marketing platforms.
  • Excellent written, creative, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Confidence working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
  • A passion for community sport and grassroots football.
