Main Purpose of Role

This is a new exciting role within the Master Data Team that has been created to bring the Manufacturing data object in alongside other Master Data objects on SAP S4 HANA for GDHV. It is a position that will be vital for ensuring Bills of Materials, Routes and Production Versions requests are checked, input and maintained correctly on to the system, and current data is accurate and updated when change requests are received. Master Data impacts all areas of the business, provides the opportunity for this roleto communicate with a whole range of GDHV departments, other Divisional organisations as well as external agencies. There will be an opportunity to liaise and assist other Glen Dimplex companies moving to SAP in the future who need help and guidance in preparing their data for a smooth transition.

Key Accountabilities

• Create BOM’s Routings and Product versions for GDHV Sites to allow works orders to be raised.
• Maintain and change BOM’s Routings and Product versions when process changes are made to ensure accuracy of data.
• Liaise with other departments involved in Manufacturing to ensure completion of requests in a timely manner.
• Carry out Data Audits with all GDHV sites to ensure accuracy across the manufacturing data set in all Plants.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve production issues.
• Complete Fresh Service requests within the laid down timescales.
• Other tasks as deemed necessary for the role.
  
  
  

Skills, Knowledge And Experience

Essential Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree, higher vocational training or vocational training in Data Management, or a related field.
• Previous experience of Master Data processes, and a full understanding of the importance of high-quality data.
• Knowledge of Manufacturing Data Bills of Materials Routes and Production Versions.
• Ability to work methodically through data sets.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficient user of Microsoft Office and associated applications (Excel/Word/Outlook)
• Knowledge of SAP S4 Hana.
• Positive can-do attitude.
