We’re on the lookout for a dynamic and commercially-minded Marketing Manager, Brand Partnerships Activation to join our forward-thinking team. This is a high-impact role where you’ll work with world-renowned travel partners and destinations, creating global partnerships that elevate both the Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Atlantic Holidays brands.
You’ll be responsible for shaping and executing the global strategy for our travel partners – from tourism boards and destinations to theme parks, hotels, and other Virgin Travel companies. Managing budgets of £5–8 million, you’ll lead senior-level engagements with government and C-suite stakeholders, crafting partnerships that deliver value and create competitive brand advantage.
Day to day
• Create and lead annual strategic plans for top-tier global partners that align with our brand and commercial goals.
• Build a robust partnership framework to prioritise activity and maximise ROI.
• Deliver industry-leading campaigns across all channels – direct and indirect – ensuring measurable impact through KPIs.
• Champion Virgin Atlantic in new route working groups, contributing strategic marketing insight to unlock commercial success.
• Foster powerful relationships with high-level stakeholders (Govt Minister / CMO level) to drive value and preference for our brand.
About you
• Strong commercial acumen and a strategic mindset, with the ability to re-prioritise quickly and make budget decisions for maximum impact.
• Proven track record across diverse marketing disciplines – digital, CRM, sponsorship, activations, social and more.
• Experience designing and embedding marketing processes that support transformational growth.
• Outstanding relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
• Confidence operating in matrix organisations, with experience influencing senior internal and external stakeholders.
• A collaborative leadership style with the ability to coach teams to deliver outstanding results.
• Proficiency in MS Office – especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
