The Opportunity
A visionary Marketing Director will join our dynamic global team to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our brands, including Ellesse. This global position requires an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to think and act strategically across diverse international markets.
Reporting directly to the Chief Product and Brand Officer, you'll lead our passionate and collaborative teams in creating and executing best in class marketing campaigns and activations as well as developing compelling tools to enhance the sell in process, both driving the business towards delivering it’s commercial targets.

You will be responsible for strategically planning, developing, and executing marketing campaigns and activity across all consumer touch points to deliver sustainable and profitable market share growth for Focus Brands portfolio of brands. In addition, the role is responsible for building strong relationships internally with the wider stakeholders, Chief Executive Officer, Commercial Officer, Chief Finance Officer, Commercial Directors and building excellent relationships with the external stakeholders within Focus Brands portfolio of brands and future brands, so together you can achieve winning results globally.

Key Responsibilities
Strategy and Priorities
- Develop Strategic Marketing Plans aligned with Brand Priorities and Strategic Commercial Plans that will deliver both brand and business KPIs for D2C (ecom), wholesale accounts, export partners and distributors.
- Lead and develop teams within your department to collaboratively execute the SMPs across all consumer touch points for key distribution channels: D2C (ecom), Wholesale Accounts, export partners to distributors.
- Develop GTM sell in plans (from showrooms to sales sell in tools) to enhance the sell in process with rich and meaningful tools that drive a return on investment. From Brand calendars to seasonal priorities this is pivotal within the GTM process.
- Empower the Creative Team to translate the brand direction from the Design and Product Teams for the brands within Focus Brands portfolio, into compelling and impactful photography for all consumer points.
- Ensure flawless executions of all Brand and Marketing campaigns and activations, ensuring each campaign and/or project is effectively planned, delivered and evaluated against targets.
- Plan, deploy and track marketing budgets across all applicable channels ensuring projects come in within budget and all budgets are optimised.
- Drive alignment across internal and external stakeholders.
- Work closely with all stakeholders on growth plans to ensure that business targets and Net Sales are achieved.
- Identify agencies that deliver relevant marketing mechanics with a strong return on investment.
- Develop a deep understanding of the wholesales partners, distributors and partners, understanding which marketing levers need to be activated to impact KPI's and Net Sales.
- Work closely and cross functionally with the commercial directors and chief financial officer to ensure business measures are being met.
- Effectively manage and lead the team across four/five functions within the team.
- Drive the company values across all team members, embodying these beliefs and behaviours.
- Promote a high performance culture by setting clear expectations and individual goals.
- Evaluate the competencies of team members on a regular basis and provide prompt feedback and guidance to drive sustainable high performance.
- Develop team through coaching, feedback and experiences to build best team
- Internal: CEO, CBO, CCO, CFO and Commercial Directors.
- External: Brand stakeholders, Wholesale Partners and Distributors.
- 12+ years Marketing experience.
- 8+ years management experience.
- A strategic thinker with confidence and speed in execution.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful global marketing strategies.
- Strong understanding of omni channel marketing.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong coaching leadership style providing guidance, support, and feedback through active listening, emotional intelligence, and mentorship.
