The Apprenticeship Programme:
Assessment Centre: Tuesday 24 February 2026
The Marketing Campaigns Apprenticeship Programme in our Client Communications and Marketing (CCM) Function offers a fantastic alternative to university, combining practical on-the-job experience with structured learning and development.
The CCM Function has responsibility for our overall client proposition and strategy, our internal and external communications and our marketing strategy and operations to manage our brand and reputation and support the Partnership.
Over the course of this 12-month programme, you’ll work in our Cirencester office alongside experienced professionals in our Marketing team, designing, implementing and measuring the effectiveness of our campaigns and partnerships whilst gaining real insight into the world of financial services and core skills that will support your long-term career.
Alongside this you will be studying for a Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer Apprenticeship which will also support you with Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Affiliate status.
All apprenticeships are offered as permanent contracts within our organisation, with individuals progressing directly into their substantive roles within the organisation upon successful completion of the programme.
About the team:
The Marketing Campaigns team are responsible for the design, execution and performance measurement of marketing campaigns for St James’s Place to ensure our position as one of the market-leading wealth management organisations in the UK
Key responsibilities:
We are looking for someone who has the motivation and potential to develop through experience, training and immersion into our high performing team and work programme.
This role is based at our offices in Cirencester, Gloucestershire and you will be required in the office 2-3 days each week and sometimes more depending on business requirements. From time to time you may need to travel to our other offices across the UK.

Key responsibilities:
- Supports the design, execution and performance measurement of marketing campaigns and partnerships
- Help facilitate strong collaboration across teams within CCM and wider business
- Ensures campaign activity is executed within compliance parameters.
- Keeps track of all owned outputs to ensure that activity in their area meets the expected results and return on investment (ROI), including analysis and evaluation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through own team and Data Analytics team.
- Recommends any adjustments should market or business conditions change.
- Collaborate with wider functions for all ‘owned’ distribution through websites and social channels as well as articulation through the Account Management and Consultancy functions
- Collect and use data from the Insight team to target selected groups in a partnership or campaign
- Collect and use data from the Data Analytics team to assess campaign and partnership performance and to inform future activity
We are looking for someone who has the motivation and potential to develop through experience, training and immersion into our high performing team and work programme.
- Be studying for or have recently achieved A-levels (or equivalent)
- Minimum of a level 5 in Maths and English at GCSE
- An interest in marketing and campaign management within financial services
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
- Confidence to engage from day one with colleagues and employees of all levels
- An aptitude to grasp each opportunity with a growth mindset.
