As a Marketing Assistant you will.......
As a Marketing Assistant you will support the team to drive profitable sales growth and grow market share within the sector through opportunity identification and delivery of marketing project streams aligned to the brand proposition, vision and financial targets.
You’ll be expected to support the Marketing Manager and wider Marketing team to help deliver and evaluate short and medium-term marketing plans with the goal of creating and delivering a compelling pub experience for the guest while generating incremental sales through customer acquisition, repeat visits and increased spend per head.

You’ll receive a competitive salary, pension contribution as well as:
- Manage marketing team administration such as; raising purchase orders, placing POS orders, managing stock, organising meetings and responding to pub level queries
- Support the team in the delivery of the annual brand plan & the marketing activity plan - working alongside the Marketing Managers and Marketing Execs to deliver tactical promotional campaigns and engaging with the Operations team and other key business areas to successfully launch all activity
- Support the team where needed on projects with the internal digital marketing team to deliver the brand’s digital activation including working on brand social media and email activity
- Work alongside internal and external colleagues such as marketing & print agencies / food development / purchasing / drinks category teams – assisting in the management of a range of projects effectively to ensure key activity is executed to plan and on time
- Be the voice of the guest, to understand their behaviour and key market trends
- Know the competition, with regular reviews and visits to competitors’ sites, reporting back on learnings and any actions to be taken
- Passionate about marketing with previous marketing experience or marketing related qualification ideal
- High level of passion for the Hospitality industry
- Commercially aware and able to integrate company agenda into thinking
- Good communicator with ability to engage the business
- Forward thinking with strong planning & process skills
- Brand literate with a strong affinity for the customer and their motivations
- Team player - able to work well with internal (e.g. Marketing, Operations, Purchasing, finance etc.) and external (e.g. agencies, logistics) teams
