We’re looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking Marketing & Communications Lead to drive our external messaging, build brand awareness, and strengthen engagement with key stakeholders. You’ll lead the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns across multiple channels—from digital and social media to earned media and sponsorships—playing a key role in positioning AirTanker as a trusted, progressive partner in aviation and defence.

What you'll be doing
- Shape and execute AirTanker’s external communications strategy.
- Own and manage multi-channel content creation—from press releases to visual assets.
- Lead our digital presence: website, LinkedIn, Instagram, X, and Facebook.
- Build relationships with RAF, MOD, media partners, and sponsorship organisations.
- Support recruitment and sales teams with strategic marketing tools and content.
- Collaborate across communications, events, and internal engagement functions.
- Coach executives on public messaging and digital brand representation.
- Track performance metrics and refine plans for impact and reach.
What you'll bring
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in marketing and communications.
- Strong writing, design, and digital content skills (Canva, PowerPoint, Adobe).
- Experience managing social media and websites.
- Defence, airline, or military sector experience desirable but not essential.
- Confidence under pressure, sharp attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit.
- Degree-level education and a solid grasp of communication strategy.
