About The Role
As an Events Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for managing and overseeing a range of events designed to promote and support our non-profit clients. Working in high-traffic venues across Manchester, you’ll engage directly with the public to inspire support and generate donations. This is a hands-on sales role where your ability to connect with people will directly contribute to the success of our campaigns and the goals of our charity partners.
Key Responsibilities
As an Events Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for managing and overseeing a range of events designed to promote and support our non-profit clients. Working in high-traffic venues across Manchester, you’ll engage directly with the public to inspire support and generate donations. This is a hands-on sales role where your ability to connect with people will directly contribute to the success of our campaigns and the goals of our charity partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Event Planning & Execution: Coordinate and manage event logistics, including setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring each event runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Sales & Engagement: Actively engage with event attendees, promoting our clients’ missions and programs while driving sales and securing donations through meaningful conversations.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate event staff, providing training and support to ensure they effectively represent our clients and reach event targets.
- Client Representation: Act as the main point of contact at events, representing the values and mission of our non-profit clients to create a positive and impactful experience for the public.
- Performance Reporting: Track event outcomes, sales figures, and gather public feedback to improve future campaigns and provide clients with insightful reports.
- Adapt & Innovate: Be prepared to adapt strategies and event layouts as needed to maximize engagement and sales outcomes.
- Full and unrestricted right to work in the UK. We cannot consider Tier 4 or PSW visas, unfortunately.
- Must not have applied to any of our openings in the past 30 days.
- Previous experience in event coordination, sales, or customer-facing roles is preferred but not essential; we value enthusiasm and commitment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Flexibility to work full-time, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in engaging with diverse audiences in dynamic environments.
