Want to share your passion for marine life with curious explorers of all ages? Come join our team of Marine Life Rangers at Weymouth SEA LIFE Adventure Park, where no two days are ever the same!
What You'll Be Doing
As a Ranger, you'll lead fascinating rockpool experiences where visitors can discover amazing creatures like starfish and anemones up close. Throughout your day, you'll deliver engaging talks and presentations to groups of visitors using microphones and audio equipment, bringing the underwater world to life.
You'll guide visitors on exciting behind-the-scenes tours and special experiences, sharing your knowledge and enthusiasm for marine life. While creating unforgettable moments for our guests, you'll champion our crucial conservation message and work across different areas of the park, including our fantastic rockpool zone.
As part of your role, you'll have the opportunity to be cross-department trained, giving you the chance to work in various areas of the park and develop a well-rounded understanding.
These are seasonal, fixed term positions, contracted from February to November. All our seasonal roles are offered on a flexible minimum guaranteed hours of 5 per week. Availability of work will vary throughout the season.

Qualifications & Experience
- Love talking to people and can keep large groups captivated
- Are confident using microphones and speaking in public
- Can work independently and as part of an enthusiastic team
- Are happy to work in all weather conditions (our creatures don't take rain checks!)
- Available to work a minimum of 20 hours during peak times
- Comfortable occasionally wearing character costumes
- Eligible for a DBS check (required for behind-the-scenes tours)
- Available to work weekends and bank holidays
