Biocrucible
Date: 5 days ago
City: Saffron Walden
Contract type: Contractor
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual for a Manufacturing Technician role. In this position, you will be instrumental in assembling complex components and ensuring the functionality and quality of our electro-mechanical systems. As we transition our initial devices from R&D through validation to large-scale manufacturing, you will be joining a dynamic and growing team that is pivotal to our success and future growth.
About You
You are interested in starting, or progressing your career in medical device manufacturing, have an eye for detail and work well with intricate assemblies. You are keen to get hands on with component manufacture, assembly, preparation of chemical formulations or perhaps you have experience in another industry where you think you can apply yourself to these.
With manufacturing processes involving rapid prototyping methods, thermoformed, 3D printed and injection moulded plastic parts, assembled using the latest laser, heat, and ultrasonic welding process, there’s a chance to get involved with some exciting tech.
Don't worry if you have never used this kit, we will train you!
We love inquisitive and collaborative people; we empower our teams to get the job done.
About Us
We are part of the Sapphiros group, a pioneering research and development company with sites in Cambridge and Hove. Our ground breaking work in printed flexible electronics, and point-of-need diagnostics has led us to an unprecedented project in medical device production. We are all about putting the best people and technologies together to lead the charge in manufacturing diagnostic tests at extremely high volume, and low cost. We look for the best collaborative solutions, and novel manufacturing techniques to optimise efficiency and process capability.
Roles and Responsibilities:
You may not have experience in all of these areas but we work as a team so if you’re stronger in one area, we are still keen to hear from you.
We do not discriminate, we are interested in you, your skills, experience, and nothing more.
Please contact us If you require accommodations or adjustments to complete the application or interview process.
We look forward to speaking with you.
