Purpose of the Role
Join the Manufacturing Strategy Team as the Technical Manager for Manufacturing Resource Planning where you'll be responsible to ensure the efficient allocation and utilization of resources within Manufacturing at Bentley, and play a pivotal role in driving the development and implementation of the Dream Factory in Crewe. Reporting into the Head of Manufacturing Resource Planning & P-Academy your main responsibilities include;
Our diverse team actively create and drive the development of the Dream Factory in Crewe whilst our focus is on the people that bring the Dream factory to life. They’re looking at ways to strategically plan the future skills required for our workforce as well creating headcount plans for all of Manufacturing. In this role, you will gain invaluable experience in managing high-impact projects, develop a deep understanding of cutting-edge technology, and play a key role in driving our Dream Factory. You will work alongside and being mentored by Industry Leading Manufacturing professionals and have the opportunity to work self managed.

Purpose of the Role

- Forecasting and Analysis: Predicting future workforce requirements based on business goals and market demands.
- Resource Allocation and Scheduling: Allocating resources judiciously to ensure projects have the necessary tools and personnel and creating detailed schedules that outline when and where resources will be needed.
- Analysing Current Workforce: Assessing the current workforce to identify skill gaps, turnover rates, and areas for improvement.
- Collaboration: Working closely with department heads to align resource distribution with project goals and HR to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Monitoring and Adjusting: Continuously reviewing and adjusting headcount plans to respond to changes in the business environment.
- Reporting: Preparing reports that track resource status, utilization, and efficiency
- Budget Management: Ensuring that headcount plans are financially viable and align with the organization’s budget.

- Data Analysis: Proficiency in analysing data to optimise workforce distribution and operational efficiency.
- Communication: Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with various departments.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to anticipate conflicts and prepare contingency plans.
- Leadership: Leading teams and managing resources effectively.
