We are searching for a skilled Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team.
Reporting directly to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the performance of our manufacturing operations.

About The Role
We are searching for a skilled Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team.
Reporting directly to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the performance of our manufacturing operations.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Perform planned and reactive maintenance on both electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ensure safety and compliance for site utilities, including heat pumps, compressors, cooling systems, and effluent systems.
- Conduct temperature and Legionella checks and maintain fire system compliance.
- Optimise plant machinery to maximise efficiency while adhering to health and safety standards.
- Respond to alarms and breakdowns, documenting repair actions.
- Identify and implement equipment upgrades and improvements, including creating jigs and fixtures.
- Collaborate with management to coordinate engineering activities.
- Maintain records for site services and adhere to plant-specific legislation.
- Support the development and maintenance of advanced equipment, automation, and robotics to improve manufacturing processes.
About You
- Recognised NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (or equivalent), or IET 18th Edition Regulations qualification.
- Confident level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, fostering strong collaboration with peers, departments, and suppliers.
- Competence in reading and interpreting electrical/mechanical documentation and drawings.
- Experience in fault diagnosis and repair activities on high-tech engineered systems, such as mechanical equipment, fluid/pneumatic power equipment, and robotics.
- Capability to perform condition monitoring, planned maintenance, and confirmation testing of equipment and plant.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills with a strong focus on health & safety practices.
- Formal qualifications or demonstrable experience in health and safety are desirable.
- A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improving processes, practices, and procedures.
