Consulting brings together multiple teams across Transactions, Risk & Consulting, ABA, and Outsourcing to provide client-centric solutions for RSM’s current and future clients within the middle market. Our Consulting team has a major role to play in driving forward the growth of the firm with over 1,700 people delivering almost £200m revenue.

As a Managing Consultant/Associate Director within Internal Audit, you will be responsible for the delivery of specialist contract audit and project assurance audits across our whole portfolio of clients. This includes specialist contract assurance services to a range of public sector, charity, listed and privately owned organisations.

You will make an impact by:


  • Managing Capital and revenue contract audit and assurance portfolios.
  • Being an Subject Matter Expert of Procurement Assurance, including knowledge or Procurement Legislation.
  • Managing Project Assurance.

  • The ability to oversee and execute specialist audits in accordance with IIA standards.
  • Professionally qualified (IIA, ACA, ACCA) or relevant project assurance qualifications eg PRINCE2 etc, with experience in managing and delivering specialist contract audit IA assignments and engagements.
  • The ability to proactively manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A positive pro-active ‘can-do’ attitude & the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication skills including written and oral communication skills both in person and online due to our hybrid working model..
