SDUK's brands include the Nation’s favourite cheese brand Cathedral City plus other well-known butter & spreads (Clover, Country Life, Vitalite, Utterly Butterly), functional ingredients and dairy free products.

We are looking for a Procurement Manager to join our team and take the lead in procurement for direct material categories. The role will be based out of our Weybridge Head Office (Hybrid) and collaborate significantly with R&D, Supply Chain, Marketing and Site teams to drive strategy and deliver value.

The Procurement Manager will focus on strategic sourcing, cost optimisation, risk management, innovation and supplier relationship management to support our business strategy and EBITDA targets. You will also play a crucial role in advancing our sustainability agenda, including waste management services, improving recyclability, and achieving zero to landfill objectives.

This is a hybrid role (3 days/week) in Weybridge, Surrey.

YOU’LL MAKE CONTRIBUTIONS THAT MATTER BY…

• Being responsible for various packaging and ingredients categories across the Saputo Dairy UK division within the Directs Procurement team.
• Developing and managing the categories, driving innovation in our process, and executing projects effectively.
• Collaborating closely with all functions including R&D, Supply Chain, Marketing and site teams to identify and secure long term value generation, whilst mitigating risk and establishing a sustainable supply chain.
• Ensuring the supply base accurately reflects the business needs and priorities.
• Supporting the team in development strategic plans and budgets, establishing strong stakeholder alignment, and designing and implementing a risk management strategy.

• Understanding and applying business knowledge, leveraging market trends and economic factors to identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Able to develop and deliver long-term procurement strategies that support the organisations long-term success.
• Able to build and maintain supplier relationships to ensure reliable supply and quality. Skilled in negotiating favourable terms and conditions with suppliers to maximise value and minimise costs.
• Experienced in managing complex cross-functional projects to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
