Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join the team at our Solihull site. Our Production facility at our site in Solihull is a fast paced, multi shift operation that requires quick thinking and responsive maintenance support to ensure we continue to deliver our products to our customer in sequence and in time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, advise and modify as required maintenance scheduling of machinery and Plant.
  • Carry out immediate repairs of production equipment and machines in the case of breakdowns with regards to all elements of failure i.e. mechanical, electrical, hydraulic , pneumatic etc.
  • Installation, commissioning and maintenance of new equipment
  • Maintain the technical infrastructure of the UK plant building.
  • Plan, order and administrate spare parts and Production related consumables..
  • Assist the central technical departments in carrying out technical changes and improvements including relocations / Modifications
  • Create, modify and follow Optimise procedures
  • Reduce year on year maintenance costs and ensure delivery of preventative maintenance KPI's

Skills And Experience Required

  • Several years’ experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  • City and Guilds 2330 Electrical Installation Level 2
  • Electrical Installation Level 3
  • IEE 17 th Wiring Regulations
  • City and Guild Level 3 Maintenance Engineering
  • IPAF Access licence
  • BTEC National Certificate in Electronics
  • Pneumatik Fest/City and Guild

Applicants MUST have a fully time served (Electrical or Mechancial) apprenticeship, applicant who don't will be automatically rejected
