Static Electrical Engineer : Reading (with Van)

We are seeking a highly competent and reliable Static Electrical Engineer to join our team in Reading. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment.

We are seeking a highly competent and reliable Static Electrical Engineer to join our team in Reading. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment.
What Youll Do
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on a range of electrical systems and equipment, including:
- Lighting, power, and control systems
- Motors, generators, and transformers
- Fire alarm systems and other safety equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems
- Carry out repairs and installations of electrical components and systems
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Work independently and as part of a team
- A proven track record as a maintenance electrician with a minimum of 2 years of experience
- A strong understanding of health and safety regulations
- Excellent communication and problem:solving skills
- A City and Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition wiring regulations knowledge
- Experience with PLC systems and control systems (desirable)
- Competitive salary of up to GBP42,000 per year (depending on experience)
- Company van provided
- Monday to Friday working hours (8am : 5pm)
- 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays
