Complex Needs LSA

Are you passionate about supporting students with additional needs? We are seeking a dedicated Complex Needs LSA to join one of our primary schools in Thurrock, starting immediately. This rewarding full-time role is ideal for someone with the skills and compassion to work closely with students requiring tailored support in their educational journey.

Location: South Ockendon

Salary: £80 - £105 per day

Start Date: Immediately

Contract Type: Full-time

About The Role

As a Complex Needs LSA, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with complex learning needs.
• Assist teaching staff in delivering inclusive and engaging lessons.
• Implement strategies to promote independence and confidence among students.
• Support students with personal care where necessary, ensuring dignity and respect.
• Contribute to the development and review of individual education plans (IEPs).

Requirements

To excel as a Complex Needs LSA, you should:

• Have experience working with children or young people with complex needs.
• Be patient, empathetic, and committed to supporting student development.
• Possess excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Be proactive, adaptable, and able to respond effectively to individual needs.
