We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Specialist to join our existing experienced team.

As a Logistics Specialist, you will be able to demonstrate a knowledge of the following:


Logistics Management:


  • Utilize knowledge of UK MOD logistics approaches, including DCS and TORCS, to manage equipment movement within a Front Line Command (FLC) context.
  • Coordinate and oversee the transportation and storage of equipment, ensuring compliance with MOD standards


Policy Compliance:


  • Apply working knowledge of MOD policies for Security (JSP 440), cryptographic materials (JSP 491), and records management (JSP 441).
  • Ensure all operations adhere to relevant security and cryptographic material policies.


Systems Proficiency:


  • Operate and manage JAMES and NDJI systems effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records and data within these systems.


Export Controls:


  • Manage export controls and ensure compliance with ITAR and RTON regulations.
  • Oversee the documentation and approval processes for export-controlled items.


Data Management:


  • Utilize spreadsheet software to manage and analyse logistics and security data.
  • Prepare reports and presentations based on data analysis.



Attributes and Skills:


  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team.
  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Patience and methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DV clearance.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset.



Qualifications:


  • Experience as a logistician or involvement in equipment movement within an FLC context.
  • Familiarity with MOD policies and systems.
  • Knowledge of export controls and ITAR regulations.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel).
