We’re searching for a top-tier professional to join our team as a Logistics Planning Lead who take responsibility for planning and optimisation of the warehouse operation and act as the main interface with our external storage provider. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for capacity planning and space management both inside internal and external warehouse space . You will also lead optimisation across all facets of the warehouse function, including the efficient storage and delivery of material to the assembly line and the efficient design and layout of warehouse space.

- Taking ownership of planning and optimising day-to-day warehouse operations
- Acting as the primary liaison with the external storage provider
- Leading capacity planning for both internal and external warehouse space
- Managing and optimise space usage to ensure maximum efficiency
- Overseeing the effective storage and timely delivery of materials to the assembly line
- Driving improvements in warehouse layout and design to support operational needs
- Ensuring sufficient capacity is always available to receive material deliveries
- Maintaing efficient material flow to support smooth production processes
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance warehouse performance and reduce inefficiencies
- Expert understanding of Warehouse environments and how to use the space and layout available in the most efficient and safest manner
- An understanding of how to optimise material deliveries for a fast-paced production line, ensuring all material is delivered on time and in full, and in a manner that makes fitment as straight forward as possible
- Experience in capacity planning, with a focus on both the short, medium and long term
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal, and a pro-active nature
- Highly I.T. literate and comfortable producing and analysing large amounts of data
- MRP / ERP systems (SAP highly preferable)
- Working in a supply chain as part of a wider manufacturing process
