What you’ll be doing
This is a role for those who love detail but think big. You’ll be analysing data, improving processes, and collaborating across departments to make our logistics smarter, safer, and more efficient.
You will:
- Work with hauliers and operational teams to keep our logistics function running smoothly
 - Influence safety standards and drive continuous improvement
 - Dive into data to spot trends, write reports, and recommend smarter ways of working
 - Visit operational sites to understand how logistics works on the ground
 - Collaborate with other departments to build your network and deliver value across the business
 - Monitor and respond to future trends and innovation within the construction materials industry
 - Regularly review industry standards to ensure best practice and compliance
 - Maintain and enhance Tarmac’s position as a leading construction materials supplier
 - Align fleet strategy with the company’s sustainability targets and environmental commitments
 - Manage multiple processes and projects — always looking for ways to innovate
 -  You’ll also take part in our Graduate Core Skills Development Programme, designed to grow your business knowledge, build your confidence, and connect you with other grads and leaders across Tarmac. 
 
Essential
- A degree in any discipline
 -  A full UK manual driving licence 
 
- A passion for challenging the norm and improving how things work
 - Strong relationship-building skills
 - Confidence working with data and spotting trends
 - A proactive, organised approach to managing tasks
 - A drive to learn, grow, and succeed
 -  Team player & able to work independently
