LOGISTICS DRIVER

Salary: £28,911.48 - £31,278.84 per annum

Working Hours: Permanent, Full Time, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday

Location: Cheltenham

Excellent benefits package including 2.5% Golden Hello payment on commencement of employment and a £2,000 annual retention bonus (pro-rata for part time employees), subject to Achieving and maintaining clearance requirements.

G4S Facilities Management are recruiting a Logistics Driver on a full-time, permanent basis based in Cheltenham.

We are seeking an individual with strong UK geographical knowledge, familiarity with transport regulations, and an HGV Class 2 license. You will provide an efficient and organised logistics service involving the collection, transport, and delivery of items, with a focus on safety, security, and accountability.

You may be required to fulfill tasks that require an overnight stay and accommodation will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate fleet vehicles and equipment, completing daily checks.
  • Perform manual handling tasks as needed.
  • Ensure the Transport team works safely and efficiently.
  • Promptly report health, safety, and compliance issues using correct procedures
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal skills to foster positive client relationships.
  • Work effectively within a small team and assist other teams as needed..


Essential

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Full Clean Driving License
  • Valid CPC Card, training will be given if not currently held.
  • FLT Licence ( training can be provided )
  • Willingness to be trained to HGV class 1 if not currently held
