We have an exciting opportunity in our growing team. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant working 8.30-3.30pm, Monday to Friday on a fixed term basis until the end of the academic year. They will join a very hard working and dedicated team of teachers and support staff, who focus on improving outcomes for the pupils in their care.

Windmill Primary is a one-form entry school, in Wokingham, Berkshire. We are located in an exceptionally well-resourced building, purpose built for children aged 4 to 11 years. We pride ourselves in being a small school where all children are known, valued and have their individual needs recognised and met. We grow and learn together each year and our children are integral to the development of the school, its curriculum and the learning environment.
Our School sits within a newly established cluster of Primary schools, overseen by a Regional Director. Along with Windmill Primary School, our cluster includes the following other schools; Wheatfield Primary School, Floreat Montague Park and Frogmore Junior School.

The Details
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Scale: Associate 3.1 £25,001 FTE
Pro-rata: £19,417 (actual)
Hours: 32.5 hours, Monday to Friday (8.30-3.30pm), term time only
Contract type: Fixed term until July 2026
Closing Date: 21st October 2025
Interview date: 23rd October 2025

- A colleague with a Level 3 qualification in childcare
- A compassionate individual with experience in supporting children with additional needs on a one to one basis who can provide support including personal care to a child
- Someone with high expectations who is committed to raising the achievement of all children
- The ability to use a variety of strategies to engage and support children in their learning
- An excellent role model to children, colleagues and parents, exemplifying our core principle of kindness
- A positive professional actively supportive of the ethos, vision and values of the school
