Salary Range: £84 - £97 per day (Depending on experience)

Start: Immediate

Contract: Day-to-Day/Long-Term, Full-time/Part-time

About The Role

As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the teaching and learning process, working closely with teachers and students to ensure a smooth and effective educational experience. Your assistance will be crucial in helping students develop their academic skills and confidence.

  • Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and delivery.
  • Provide individual support to students, helping them to overcome learning challenges.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Support students with special educational needs, ensuring they have equal access to learning opportunities.

The Successful Candidate Will

  • Have a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Have previous experience working as a teaching assistant in a school setting.
  • Carry a genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to their educational and personal development.
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Have an ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Be proactive and flexible in their approach to work.

What Do We Want From You: To thrive in these roles, you should:

  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Have an updated CV (with two relevant references from the last two years and covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps)
  • An enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one with GSL Education).
