Alan Simons & Co is a successful solicitors’ practice based in Penarth. The firm specialises in residential conveyancing, wills and probate, commercial law and matrimonial law.
Due to expansion, the firm requires a full-time member of the support team (working day 9am to 5pm with an hour for lunch). The firm is looking for an experienced legal secretary, paralegal or degree/LPC or equivalent qualified person to work in this team.
The candidate should be familiar with, and be able to complete, required documents and searches for residential conveyancing to assist the busy residential conveyancing part of the practice. Alongside these skills, experience in customer facing roles such as answering the phone, making appointments and meeting and greeting clients and strong document production and letter writing is desirable.
It is particularly important that the candidate is very organised, works under their own initiative, is strong at prioritising, is a good communicator and takes responsibility for their actions.
The role is available to start from November/December and ideally needs to be in place during January latest. Salary to be discussed on application.
