UK Remote 46 month contract starting February 2026

Does this sound like you?

You are a calm, detail-focused legal professional who is comfortable juggling tasks in a fast-moving environment. You are quick to learn, confident reviewing information, and you take pride in getting things right. You enjoy being the dependable backbone of a busy legal function – someone who communicates clearly, works methodically, and keeps things running smoothly for everyone you support.

What you’ll be doing (in a nutshell):

Joining our Corporate – GRC team on a fixed-term contract, you will play an essential role in supporting our Legal Officer during a particularly demanding period. You will handle contract queries, keep our legal records in good shape, and help ensure our internal processes run with accuracy and care.

Day-to-day you can expect to:

  • Provide practical day-to-day support to our Legal Officer across a range of legal and administrative tasks
  • Review straightforward contract queries such as identifying specific clauses or terms using our internal guidelines
  • Escalate anything complex, sensitive, or outside scope to the Legal Officer or relevant GRC colleagues
  • Maintain and update legal files, registers, and workload management systems to a high standard
  • Liaise with internal teams to gather information and ensure timely responses to legal requests
  • Contribute to other tasks that help keep our GRC function operating smoothly

To be successful, you'll have:

  • A Diploma or Degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field
  • Around 1–3 years’ experience as a paralegal or legal assistant, ideally in a corporate or in-house setting
  • A solid understanding of contract structures and legal terminology
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
  • Clear communication skills and confidence managing competing priorities
  • The ability to follow established processes while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality

Bonus points if you bring:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced or high-volume environment
  • A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently
  • A flexible and solutions-focused approach when dealing with ambiguous or time-sensitive requests
