Hours: Fractional - 0.5 FTE - 18.5 hpw
Contract: Permanent
Salary: Lecturer Scale - £33762.00 to £40000.00 FTE (dep on qualifications and experience) Actual £16881.00 to £20000.00 dep on qualifications and experience.

We’re looking for an engaging and passionate individual to teach GCSE Maths here at East Coast College to our full student demographic – 16-18 and Adult.
Within our highly experienced and supportive Curriculum team, your commitment to delivery and collaborative style will quickly allow you to help students recognise their mathematical strengths and weaknesses, and equip them with the skills they need to progress and achieve.
Offering GCSE to our 16-18, Adult, our Maths team pride themselves on delivering a quality driven and student-centred Curriculum, fully appreciating the vital role their subject plays in the future aspirations of our students.

Please note, candidates who secure a teaching position, but do not currently hold a teacher qualification are required to obtain this within their first three years of employment. This can be provided by the college, however, the employee will be required to sign a commitment form, where they will be eligible to pay fees back should they fail to complete the qualification, or exit the organisation within the committed timeframe. Employees can secure their own funding such as Student Finance for the qualifications should they wish.
