Salary: £19,495.13 - £22,317.75 (Term Time) | £23,194.20 - £26,552.40 (Full Year Equivalent)

As we prepare for our pupils to return this September, we’re looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join our team. At Dan y Coed, located in West Cross, Swansea, we provide a safe, nurturing environment where children with autism and complex needs can learn, grow, and thrive. Our mission is simple: to help every child feel valued, respected, and free to be themselves as they develop into confident young people and adults.

As An LSA, You Will

• Support teachers with lesson planning, assessments, and creative learning approaches.
• Provide high-quality support for small groups of pupils with ASD and complex needs.
• Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues.
• Help organise engaging off-site activities and experiences.
• Support pupils with routines, breaks, and personal care where required.
• Promote an inclusive and supportive environment that encourages progress and positivity.

What We’re Looking For

• Resilient, empathetic, and creative individuals with a passion for supporting children.
• GCSEs (or equivalent) are valued, and we provide qualifications in ‘Supporting Teaching and Learning’.
• Experience with SEN/ASD is welcomed, but not essential—we’ll provide full training and support.
